An iconic Australian tree
Ranging from the slopes of Mt Kosciuszko to the sea, there are very few places where kurrajongs don't thrive. Their boat-shaped seed pods and bright green foliage are a common sight in the country as v.reJI as in city streets and gardens. The bell·shaped flowers range from green and yellow through to pink and red. These evergreen trees grow to 2-3 metres very quickly, and then slow down and
gradually take on a spreading habit. With a large, tubetous tap root they survive even the worst droughts and are fire retardant.
